What do in Sierra Nevada (besides skiing)

If you’re staying in the Sierra Nevada Ski resort, there’s much more to do besides just skiing. The Mirlo Blanco recreation zone has ice rinks, toboggans, ski-bikes and many other attractions that are brilliant fun for all the family.

In summertime, Sierra Nevada, is a great option too. When the snow disappears, the resort has numerous other outdoor activities to enjoy. You can go walking, cycling, horse riding or mountain climbing in the area. And hikers especially love the place. Try and reach the high summit of Veleta. If you’re lucky enough and there are no clouds, you can even see Africa from there.

Other interesting sights: Granada and surroundings

If you’re on holiday in Sierra Nevada and you need a day off from skiing, you may be interested in doing some sightseeing throughout the Granada region. We’re sure you’ll fall in love with the hidden treasures of this province. In the city centre, you’ll discover the Alhambra – an ancient palace in Granada – and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. We recommend tasting the worldwide renowned tapas. Delicious.
